Close Encounters (3 photos)

During a visit to the San Diego Safari Park I had the good fortune to meet a friendly giraffe and a hungry white rhino. In Aruba at Renaissance Island I was pleased to meet an inquisitive flamingo who wasn’t camera shy at all. Shooting outside one’s normal parameters can be both relaxing and rewarding. – Shannon Greer
