What Chefs See (10 Photos)
All photos © Myriam Babin. Above: 6th Street Kitchen.
The culmination of a personal photo project, “On the Line” is at once a photo exhibit and a food event. Photographer Myriam Babin’s exhibition, which will be shown at 411 Gallery in Brooklyn, features photos she took for her blog New York Kitchen. Babin wanted to bring the blog to life, while also transforming the gallery space into a kitchen. On Saturday October 22nd there will be a silent auction of the exhibited images, as well as dinners by participating restaurants. All proceeds will go to Share Our Strength, a non-profit dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America. RSVP here for the event.

Very interesting photo exhibit. For me it’s always interesting to see, how the backstage looks :) We have beautiful diner on the table, but how it’s made in kitchen? Now, I know what chifs see.

Superb photography. Love of food, love of the artisans
and a great sense of humour. This is a treat from a serious artist!
Congratulations.

Fantastic food related photographs. Getting behind the scenes is where the true stories lie. Great work. Food blog at http://mymezzaluna.com
