Master Chainsaw Carver

Simon spent eight weeks in the summer of 2009 driving across the United States in search of images. He says, ” I traversed 10,157.5 miles in total looking for photographs. What I found was myself. Dancers Among Us (5 photos)

Jordan Matter’s “Dancers Among Us” features members of prominent New York City dance companies. This is an ongoing project that began in the Spring of 2009. There were no trampolines or other devices used for these images, just thousands of hours of training.
